Casa Central Reception Dinner
October 11, 2012 Chicago, IL – Casa Central, a non-profit organization focusing on the education as well as family and senior services for the Hispanic community in the Chicagoland area, has been a valued client of COTG for a number of years. While COTG places a high value on all of our clients, working with clients like Casa Central is even more rewarding because it allows us to be involved in the community.
It is great to see this organization thriving, and how many children are helped through their programs,” said Brian Goetz, Casa Central’s COTG Solution Specialist. “I’m glad we could provide classroom technology for them to use in their development.”
In a welcome letter to all guests, Ann R. Alvarez, the President and CEO of Casa Central spoke to how those in attendance made a difference in their cause.
“Your presence here tonight shows your commitment to our community and together, with strong corporate and community partnerships, Casa Central continues to create hope for the individuals and families we serve.”
COTG was presented with the honor to attend Casa Central’s Annual Awards Dinner, Creating Hope Together, as a corporate sponsor. Those in attendance ranged from volunteers, corporate sponsors and corporate partners. The special guest of the evening, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, greeted each guest individually before the dinner and awards. He took the podium during the presentation to speak on his support for Casa Central and the importance of education for our city’s youth.
The awards presented were for companies that not only financially support Casa Central, but also are actively involved in volunteering with the organization. The presentation was entertaining, with ABC 7’s Sylvia Perez as the MC, videos of what Casa Central does, and the individuals who have benefited. It was great to see the impact that Casa Central has on the community, and how COTG helps them achieve their goals by taking care of their technology needs.
