COTG Hosts Blood Drive with Heartland Blood Centers
Bolingbrook, Illinois – February 11, 2014 – In support of the constant
need for blood locally, COTG, A Xerox Company, held their annual Blood Drive on
Monday, Feb. 10th. This is the fourth year that COTG has hosted a blood drive and
the third year that COTG has partnered with Heartland Blood Centers for the event.
Over 30 COTG employees participated in the blood drive, which will assist in saving
up to 90 lives in the Chicagoland area.

the consistent need for blood in our community," said Katherine Freeman, Marketing
Representative for Heartland Blood Centers. "We appreciate the support that COTG
and their employees have given Heartland Blood Centers over the past few years."
Heartland Blood Centers is an independent not-for- profit blood center serving 49
hospitals in a 12 county area including Kane, McHenry, DeKalb, Will, DuPage, Cook,
Grundy, Kendall, Lee, Ogle and LaSalle counties in Illinois, and Lake county in
Indiana. They operate under a volunteer donor system. Heartland works toward collecting
more than 200,000 units of blood annually.
